BUT what most people loved about my Mom was how self-less she really was. She would help anyone anytime. She was the least selfish person I knew. She always made everyone feel like the center of the Universe, and was the kindest person I know. Any bad situation was turned right side up when my Mom was around.
She was a huge supporter of the arts and dragged me tirelessly to galleries and museum shows, I loved her for that in later years. She inspired me to be inquisitive. To read, read, read, even at the end of her life (with a brain tumor) she voraciously read up to 12 books a week sometimes.....she was just downright brilliant in a quiet way.
We had so much fun together, something that now carries on to my own daughter. I wish all women knew the love and bright shining light of a Mom like mine......I love and
miss you Ma!
