Deb Haugen's Organic Art, at the Shop

Aloha....my husband and I live in Hawaii, he shoots pics, and I paint and sketch. Because we live in Hawaii we're always spotting wonderful moments in our little paradise. I’m inspired by the land, the mountains, flowers, sea, and people of Hawaii. I love the rich & diverse culture of our islands.
I also supply Art to TV & Film, retail & hospitality, you've probably seen my art thousands of times on your favorite TV shows, NCIS, CSI, etc., on advertising for T-Mobile, Microsoft, in retail for Crate and Barrel, Urban Outfitters, etc. just to name a few.

Another part of my Art life is an "Artist in Residence" and tour manager with Craftours, I show people the world and teach art, my 2 favorite things. Yep, it's my ultimate dream job, and I am so grateful for this wonderful travel company being in my life. If you check my blog I do talk about where my travels are taking me.

Urban Sketch is a huge part of my life, I try to draw everyday and always have a pen and paper handy. It helps you see the world differently and in great detail. My original "Urban Sketch" pieces from Hawaii are below, and I have made them into archival giclee prints, they come signed and matted. Some of them are vintage spots that are slowly disappearing from our islands landscape. I want to capture these quaint and historic parts of "old Hawaii" before they are gone forever.
