I am once again honored to be a part of "The Emerging Atists" Group show on march 21st. It will be online at One Kings Lane
There will be all new pieces this time around, and a lot of new inks that have not been shown.
There are also a couple of pieces with over sized mats, printed in a 30 x 40 format. They are large in size, but have intricate pen and ink work within the artwork itself.
I call these pen and inks my OCD drawings because quite honestly it's all about repetition. It puts me into a meditative state, and I can get lost for hours whirling and twirling around inside of one of these pieces. It is a sort of compulsion for me, but one, that feels right for an artist to relinquish themselves into. I just let it happen. Once I step away I am often surprised by the intricacies that I've been able to accomplish while on "auto pilot". I don't know whether I disappear, or I am in a finely tuned state....I can't tell. but I hope you enjoy the sale and find something that touches you.
