Mother Earth is tough. She is resilient, she has taken a beating and has carried on.

This reminded me of the  deity Pele, the Hawaiian Goddess of the volcano, of wind, of lightening. Pele is known for her power, creativity, purpose and profound love.

Oh, If only all women could be as strong  and powerful as Pele...
