It's often so wierd when I look at what inspires me. It could be something so tiny. Just a texture can set me off down a road of discovery.
The other night I was at the Bar B Q and forgot to check the grease tray, so I got it out and cleaned it and was so happy to find this wonderful textured rust.
As an abstract painter I aim for this wonderful texture, and sometimes fail to get what I'm looking for. But I can ad this now as a digital over-lay onto anything.
Always be watching and looking out for things you might miss. A drop of water ends up as a backdrop for my surfer girl.
